On the 11th June 2016 Liverpool Heartbeat supported The Bret Jones 10K for the third year running, held in memory of Bret who died of pancreatic cancer.
This year a One Mile Fun Run was introduced to the event, with over 40 young runners under the age of sixteen, some of these young runners were only four years of age. All received medals on the finish Line Presented by Roz Gladden Liverpool's Lord Mayor.
Both the 10K and Fun Run were also started by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
On the Presentation evening 24th June, there were many Fundraising events during the evening, one of these events raised £200.00 for (Ring the Bell for Bret), which has been donated to the Lord Mayor's Charity.
In the main picture apprentice Harry Whate presented a cheque for £200.00 to Roz Gladden Liverpool's Lord mayor for the Liverpool's Lord Mayor Charity.
This cheque presentation took Place at Liverpool Town Hall 10th August at the Forshaw Group's Community Social Responcibility Event.
